What costs should I include when pricing a £15 product?

Starter question · added by SellerBundle

How do I work out what is left after product cost, postage, packaging, marketplace fees and advertising?

SellerBundle teamStarter answer

Write down every cost for the order and keep overheads separate. As an illustration, £15 less £5 product cost, £3 delivery, 50p packaging, £1.50 fees and £1 advertising leaves £4 before other costs and tax treatment. Those numbers are examples, not current marketplace fee quotes. Try a discount and a refund scenario too. Use your actual fee settings and ask your accountant about VAT treatment.
