Compare history and features, not just orders
If you are catching up with old records, a low-volume plan with a short history allowance may not be enough. Link My Books Lite has three months of history; Plus has twelve. A2X Amazon Mini has three months and Starter has twelve.
A2X Mini does not include cost-of-goods posting. If your workflow needs it, compare a higher plan rather than assume the entry tier does everything.
Count accounts and connections carefully
One marketplace can mean several accounts or Merchant IDs. Confirm the provider definition of a connection before using the calculator. For multiple connections, our A2X estimate uses one Multi subscription. Separate small single-channel subscriptions could be another option, so the result is not a guarantee of the cheapest possible arrangement.
Which should you shortlist?
Shortlist Link My Books if GBP billing and its channel/history tiers fit your needs. Shortlist A2X if its reconciliation and cost-of-goods workflow fits what your accountant wants to see. This is our assessment of the published features, not a hands-on verdict.
Try the same representative payout in each, then ask your accountant to check the result. Keep the current accounting subscription in both estimates so you compare the full bill fairly.
