Can your business apply?
Private and business routes exist. Commercial sellers and sole traders must choose Business when posting. The May 2026 business policy requires UK-based sellers, UK-held stock and a UK registered business/entity for commercial accounts.
The fee model
Basic private advertisements may be free; category, business, optional promotion and payment/delivery charges can differ. Check the current posting flow and package before calculating costs.
Businesses can advertise individual items in For Sale, but advertising a shop or wholesaler belongs in Services > Goods Retailers. This distinction can prevent an otherwise useful advert being removed.
Before you commit
Dropshipping is prohibited: the item must already be in hand and in the UK. One item per advert, one advert per item, transparent total pricing and restricted-goods rules apply.
